What is Gatherd?
Gatherd is an issue tracker for a person who runs several products at once, and for the coding agents that work on them: one workspace, a project per product, and one board and one stream across all of them, with an API and an MCP server so agents can take and report their own tickets.
Which agents work with Gatherd?
Any agent that speaks MCP or HTTP. Claude Code and Codex connect through Gatherd's MCP server at mcp.gatherd.dev; anything else can call the API at api.gatherd.dev with a token, described by an OpenAPI document.
Do I have to paste a token into my agent?
Not through MCP. Add the server to your client, and the first time it calls Gatherd your browser opens: sign in, choose the workspace and the agent it works as, and allow. A plain HTTP client uses a token issued on the Agents page instead.
Can an agent change my board without me knowing?
What an agent files waits in Triage until you accept it to the backlog or decline it with a reason the agent reads back, unless you mark that agent trusted. Everything an agent does is signed with its own name in the ticket's history.
How do GitHub pull requests move tickets?
Install the GitHub App on your repositories. A pull request whose branch or title carries a ticket's key, or whose description says fixes, closes or resolves with the key, attaches to that ticket and moves it to In review when it opens and to Done when it merges.
How much does Gatherd cost?
Free is one person with every product and a thousand agent calls a day. Pro is $8 a month or $80 a year for one person, with 5,000 calls a day. Team is $24 a month or $240 a year for up to five people, then $6 for each person past five, with 15,000 calls a day shared. An agent is never a seat, and there is no overage.
What happens when my agents use up a day's calls?
The API answers 402 until midnight UTC, when the allowance starts again; nothing is charged beyond your plan. The workspace's owner sees a banner as the day's calls run low.
Does Gatherd work with TakeOne and Antescript?
Yes. A TakeOne recording or an Antescript page attaches to a ticket with a card, previews when you hover its link, and keeps the provider's own id, so an agent can open the recording's transcript or the page through that product's MCP server. An Antescript design shows on the ticket as the picture itself.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. A workspace exports as JSON and markdown from its settings, every ticket, comment and link with it.
Does Gatherd train AI on my tickets?
No. Gatherd sends your tickets to no AI service and uses none of them to train anything. They leave Gatherd only for the places you send them: an agent you connect, a webhook you add, or an export you download.
How do I delete my account?
From Account, after signing in again within the last fifteen minutes. Gatherd says first what happens to each of your workspaces: one you are alone in is deleted with your account, and one others use has to be handed over or chosen for deletion.
